The EmancipatorBIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF STEWARDSHIP
Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
— 1 Corinthians 4:1
Stewardship is a major theme in the scriptures. There are examples of stewards who were entrusted with heavenly treasures and mysteries to be displayed on earth. Some succeeded but others failed. This teaching is important so that we learn to succeed only. Adam was made the first custodian of the whole earth (Genesis 1:25-28). He was to be lord over the earth under Yahweh, but he failed at this task when He listened to another voice. The result was the derailment of the project-mankind. Noah was also made a steward of the whole earth including human life after Adam. The billions of Yahweh's pure mankind on earth today are the result of his good stewardship. By him, God's eternal plan for mankind was preserved (1 Peter 3:20, Ephesians 1:4-5). The Church today has been made the steward of the manifold wisdom of God, to restore the universe (Ephesians 3:10; Acts 3:20-21). You are part of that stewardship. Are you aware? Are you positioned to succeed?
I am honored to be Daddy's steward for this universe. By me the world will know His manifold wisdom. I will succeed at this in the name of Jesus. Amen
