The EmancipatorTHE SERVANTHOOD OF KINGDOM STEWARDSHIP
Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,
— Romans 1:1
The key to living above the conflict of kingdom stewardship is a willing servanthood posture. Unlike stewardships in the world, being stewards of Yahweh's kingdom to the universe, is a family affair. We are not "servants" in Dad's kingdom but sons. We are His imagers. Glory! Yet, it takes a servanthood internal posture to live freely as a son under the fatherhood of Yahweh, which is key to successful stewardship in the kingdom. Apostle Paul described himself as a bondservant of Christ (Romans 1:1). He counted everything as a loss and let go of everything that gave him value or importance in the sight of men and described them as dung that he may win Christ (Philippians 3:7-8). A steward of God does not argue with Him. What God wants is what he does because stewardship is authority under authority.
O Father, thank You for the gift of my will. I willingly yield it to You. Where You lead, I go in Jesus' Name. Amen
