The EmancipatorNO MORE SIN AND SHAME
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin
— 1 John 3:5
A significant impediment to the rapid maturity of many sons of God into the measure of the stature of fullness of Christ, is their lack of understanding of sin and what Jesus did about it in His death. By His death on the cross, Jesus Christ did not just forgive the sins of mankind; He TOOK sin away by NAILING it to the cross. The cross was the death of sin. Meaning that the cross was the end of mankind's distorted self-image and abdication of divine placement. Now, see yourself as God sees you. You no longer have a distorted self-image. As the one God sees to be perfect, take your place of dominion in the universe. If you receive the gospel, you can see yourself according to God's righteousness. You are no longer in sin. There are no more feelings of being intrinsically below divine expectation. In Christ you are up to standard (Colossians 1:12). There is no sin and no shame. Shout glory!
Oh boy! Thank You Jesus. Now I understand the power of the cross. I am free forever from condemnation. I am no longer a sinner. There is no shame in me. Hallelujah!
