RECEIVING HEALING

Even after Jesus Christ nailed them to the cross in his death and arose triumphant, diseases and sicknesses are still one of the greatest burdens of people on earth today. This is mainly for two reasons, and also because many do not know how to receive healing. First, they do not understand what Jesus meant by, "they shall recover" and secondly, they don't know how to assess their spiritual state and know the best means for their recovery. Receiving healing is not what the world thinks. By His death and resurrection Jesus abolished the corruption that leads to all forms of disease, sicknesses and death. So, receiving healing is a recovery of that state. Meaning that people are perfect, excellent and beautiful in spirit, soul and body because of what Christ did. But if they experience the mirage of corruption because of the subconscious recognition and sensual perception, life from the Christ in others can spark a recovery of their perfect state so that their inherent beauty shines forth. That is the meaning of the Greek word, "kalōs" as used in our verse above.
