IT'S A GOOD THING TO BE A LEADER

While some people in Church are always minding their own business and not willing to take up leadership roles for concerns of offending people, there are those who are sniffing everywhere for leadership because of some advantages. Based on the scriptures, be in none of the above groups. We are to realize that it is a good thing to take up leadership or bishopric. This is because every thriving local assembly of the Church requires more hands on the job to make it effective. Open up and embrace leadership responsibilities because it is good and it is also necessary. When you do, do so for the sake of the Church family, not for fame or carnal advantages (1 Peter 5:2).
