HOLD IT!

The second step into the unveiling of your Christ consciousness is to engage the sight (or awareness) developed in your fellowship with the Holy Spirit. This engagement is done in what is called meditative prayer. In this kind of prayer, you continuously interact with your sight of scriptural truth by (a) repeatedly affirming and enjoying what you are seeing in a "normal" language; or (b) speaking in other tongues while beholding it or (c) thoughtfully contemplating what you are seeing in silence. Start with whichever is easier and enjoyable in spirit for you and as you advance you may switch from one to another as you enjoy the prayer. There are no hard and fast rules; just move according to His workings with you. This exercise will transform you into the awareness of what you are seeing. As stated in our opening verse, those scriptural realities cease to be external to you, they "become" you. Again, if you were seeing your oneness in Christ, then it becomes you as Christ.
