FGM ACADEMY EXPERIENCE (4) — A TRANSFORMING ATMOSPHERE

Whatever your experiences are, you still must be in the Academy. Watching a YouTube video on how to bake bread and being involved in a bakery are not the same thing. The messages come with a certain atmosphere and a certain wavelength. Technology does well by capturing these things for us in media form, but when you are there, it is a making. And the other thing is that God uses all the students in the Academy to minister to one another. So, you need to be there. It is not just a matter of feasting on the messages on your own at home.

During the orientation, Dr. Bindan made two points that struck me. He said that the Academy is not to add to the knowledge that we already have, and it is not to make us better ministers. So, I asked myself, "Then why am I here? Why am I here if not to become a better minister? Then he dropped the bombshell and said that we were there to be transformed—a transformation into what we already are but never knew. And once you hear these, suddenly, they send signals throughout your being. You begin to realize that, most definitely, you are there to be re-purposed. And that is exactly the experience of the Academy. You will certainly be re-purposed.
