The EmancipatorDEATH WAS NATURAL
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted
— Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
In the pre-Christ era when humanity lived in the realm of death because of Adam, dying was so certain for everyone. Once a person was born, it was known that he or she would die. After several centuries, helpless humanity concluded that among the things that are a natural and non-negotiable part of life was death. Death became natural. Of course, if everyone without exception, who was born into the world, died after the next few generations after him, it was reasonable to conclude from that observation that death is natural. This certainty of death is stated several times in the Bible, making people hold it so dearly as though it was for all ages. But Jesus Christ entered the realm of death and abolished it over two millennia ago. Through the Holy Spirit, the in-Christ humanity is gradually awakening to this reality with the new observational conclusion of life without death.
I am in the in-Christ era. Death is abolished and life now reigns. I see life only in Jesus Christ for death is gone forever. Hallelujah!
