The EmancipatorA PRACTICAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise

What did we mean by a practical relationship with the Godhead in yesterday's devotion? It is a relationship with Yahweh that is as real or even more so as relating with a physical spouse, parent or brother in this life. This is how Daddy showed me this. Long ago, I would go into my prayer room and pray, pray and pray. I would have a lot of heated emotions and joy in God. But when I came out and began relating with my wife, children and people around, they were more real to me than the God that seemed real some moments ago but had kind of disappeared into thin air. Then, Daddy drew my attention to the truth that until my relationship with Him is more real and practical than that with my wife and other people around, I am in a religious contract with Him. "Wow!". Immediately, I began searching the scriptures to see how that could be practicalized, and I saw it in Jesus Christ as stated above. Oh, what a turning point in my life and walk with God. I will share more on this in the following days.
Oh Father, that I will develop this real and practical relationship with You above all things in my life, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
