The EmancipatorIMMORTALITY: FEELING THE SAME BODY?
knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin

This matter of having a new body in Christ, is quite challenging to some because they have continued to feel the same way in their bodies even after receiving Christ. That is okay but the challenge is that what you feel is not the fundamental reality, remember? It is not possible to obtain a good report in God's sight without faith (Hebrews 11:2, Hebrews 11:6). That means you must through the Word learn to live by the evidence of the Word which is the fundamental reality of your life in Christ. This is why we teach these over and again. To help train you beyond the natural senses to enjoy your inheritance in Christ. Truly, much of what people feel today in their bodies, are hangovers of the consciousness of the corruptible Adamic body, which does not exist any longer because Jesus Christ killed it on the cross. The 'sick-able' and 'die-able' body you are feeling does not exist. You are deathless in Christ.
I choose to live only by the evidence of the Word and not the senses. The corruptible Adamic body is dead, and I am right now in my in-Christ body in Jesus' Name.
