The EmancipatorTHE STANDARD IS IMMORTALITY
but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.
— 2 Timothy 1:10
The ultimate of Adam's error was death on the earth. On the other hand, the ultimate of Jesus' correction of that error, is life without death on the earth. Believe it or not, that is part of what Yahweh's dreams to achieve in the Church is and it is bound to be so. This is why again, He sent Jesus to abolish or cancel death and not only that but simultaneously unveil life and immortality. Which means lacking the ability to corrupt, decay or die. Note that this verse also does not have, "after death". Every thought of this happening only after death is deception. Why is immortality part of the standard? Creation is waiting for the Church to deliver it from corruption (Romans 8:19). It takes immortal or incorruptible beings to minister incorruption to creation. The Father has patiently been at work and that deathless generation has begun to emerge. Hallelujah!
Knowing that death is abolished, I strongly lay hold on my life and immortality. I mature in the Word to physically manifest it in Jesus' Name.
