MAXIMIZE THE CROSS

If you are still living as a sinner, undeserving and as one far from God, the cross of Christ is made of no effect in your life because of the wisdom of men's words which you have believed. The lives of many people who venerate and love to talk about the cross of Jesus, reveal that the cross is not maximized in their lives. Maximizing the cross has to do with understanding what Jesus Christ did through the cross and walking in the light of that reality. As mentioned above, you may love and sing a lot about the cross. You may have the cross as your dominant gospel message. You may wear or have hangings of the cross all around you but if you don't understand and walk in the light of what Jesus Christ accomplished in the cross, you are not maximizing the cross. So, during this Easter, don't just celebrate the cross, seek to scripturally understand its significance. Hallelujah!
