LIMITED VISION ACCEPTS SICKNESSES

It is true that the feeling of disease and sickness is frustrating and debilitating. Yes, the feeling of pain is really painful. Yet neither the painfulness of pain nor the debilitation of sickness is proof that disease and sickness are lords over your life. When there is a limited Christian vision, the feelings or perceptions of the natural senses are taken to be more real than the truth of God. As a result, one accepts disease and sicknesses as normal because every now and then, he or she feels or physically experiences it. This also is a disadvantage of a limited Christian vision. Yet one thing that our main verse today reveals is that the incarnation, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ did not only take away sin, but it also took away ALL sicknesses. That means that according to scriptural vision, you are forever free from sicknesses because Jesus took it away. So, irrespective of any pain or debilitation, you are unable to accept being a victim of disease and sicknesses.
