GOD IS NOW REAL TO ME IN PRAYER

Does it feel like your prayers are empty, unsatisfactory and just bouncing off the ceiling? Dr. Nana Abena has this to share from her participation in OGT:

"Prior to OGT, anytime I start praying is when every other thing comes in my mind and it will be just wandering about. I will be expressing the words, but my mind will be on something else. After the training last year, I am now able to focus more in prayer with very little distraction and even when my mind wanders, quickly I am able to shift back to focus. It has really been amazing. Also, one dawn session, Dr. Bindan, made us imagine God before us to just talk to Him as a Father. That statement stuck with me. It transformed the way I viewed prayer. From then, anytime I prayed, I knew I was talking to my real Father who is just before me, no longer far away. I just have to speak to my Father from my heart. Oh, now I just flow. Prayer has ceased to be a religious uttering of words. It has become moments of flowing from my heart to my present and real Father. It has made everything smooth and easy for me. I can talk to my Father anywhere, anytime and about everything."
