The EmancipatorWATCH WHERE YOU'RE LOOKING
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed
— James 1:25
Some people say today, "I believe". Then when tomorrow something challenging shows up, they look away from what Dad said forgetting His immutability. Peter stepped out of the boat based on Jesus' Word, but when the waves arose, he looked away from the Word and began to sink. The ten spies looked away from Dad's promises to them when they saw the giants in the land and perished in the wilderness. The rest is yours. No one and nothing can take it from you. Neither can anything take you out of it because you were born into it. But in terms of your experience, you maintain your rest by keeping your gaze on Dad's Word not on any deceptive winds, waves or rains. Keep looking in the direction of Dad's Word that you are in the rest, and your experience will be constant.
No winds, waves nor rains can deceive me. In Christ, I am born into rest and that's where I have set my gaze in life forever. Glory to God.
