WHY ARE THINGS THE SAME?

Truly, everything changed in this world from the resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, in terms of human and natural experience, all things appear the same. This has shifted the understanding of the good news of Jesus Christ to merely a ticket to escape from the world because people in all ages tried to make "sense" of what He achieved in reference to their experiences. The exciting truth is that though things appear the same, they are not. Dad is busily at work in this world restoring things to the perfect original state (Ephesians 1:11). What is He doing when the world is still in terrible experiences? He is working on His new "mankind" (now sons of God in Christ) who will sort the rest of the world out (Romans 8:19-21). Oh hallelujah!
